 NEW WIDE CLEARANCE FOR USE IN MUD |
The K970M is made for heavy-duty agricultural use where flotation is of
utmost importance. It will move heavy loads from soft fields with a minimum of
draft, and can be towed and backed easier than a conventional four wheel type gear. A new and improved tandem axle assembly is now standard. This new design feature permits operation in heavy mud without clogging. Pivot point is 1" off center for reduced stress on tandem axles when turning. The unit is constructed of heavy welded structural steel with a high carbon tubular steel reach. Spindles are made of 1045 cold finished steel and are pressed in- no welding on tandem spindles. The hubs rotate on the latest type tapered bearings. All points of wear are equipped with renewable bushings. |
